Refuting Vlad Vexler's delusional scaremongering about the "breakup of Russia"
Dangerous clickbait, encouraging the continued propping up of Putin's regime of terror.
Yeah yeah yeah. Just like happened in 1991. How many insane murdering regimes came out of that?
None. They were all running away from the USSR nightmare, wanting democracy, peace and prosperity.
Contrary to current disinformation, “Operation Sapphire” was only instigated after persistent requests from Kazakstan itself to the US to remove it’s nuclear materials.1
The only regime that threatened to sell them (and may well have) was, of course, Russia. Yeltsin’s threats.
The corrupt, massively incompetent and intermittently bankrupt Russian regime is at extreme risk of selling nuke materials, knowledge and interest - and in my uneducated opinion, probably has been doing so, over a long period. They can’t even stop people stealing the copper wires from their tanks.
The contumelious contravention of the Non-Proliferation treaty by shipping arms to a nuclear weapons free state of Belarus being the tip of an iceberg. No concern at all at Lukashenko’s offers to sell elsewhere.
Even the insane Kremlin regime was not created by the break up of the USSR. Yeltsin’s aims were for complete world de-nuclearisation. Why the almost immediate U turn?
The insane regime we see was created and nurtured by US neo-liberals who had destroyed country after country in South America, setting up brutal repressive dictatorships by stripping necessary government and social justice, shredding the fabric of society.2
With the connivance of the UK and France and the intimidated silence of the entire UN membership and oblique objection of China.
Pushing and manipulating an incompetent alcoholic President into
1. stealing the entire assets of the USSR from their legal owners under the USSR Constitution, the people of the USSR, and giving them to oligarchs who inevitably formed a despotic pseudo feudal barony around the Kremlin;
2. violating the UN Charter by a huge fraud, "giving" Yeltsin a fictitious membership which Russia had no right to and which moreover, being a personal named membership, had ceased to exist when the USSR did - as was recognised in A/RES/47/1 in 1992 in the case of the defunct Socialist Federation of Yugoslavia.
Teaching the Kremlin that the law was to be treated with contempt and violated;
3. violating the 1991 agreements for joint control of the former USSR's nukes and disarmament, threatening and blackmailing peaceful democratic Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan into giving them to Yeltsin;
4. militarily attacking the elected lawmakers and people of Russia, repressing protest and media, grabbing power by force, beginning the path which inevitably led to the present situation.
But still the Russian regions are not wild 17th century barbarians led by despotic Gengis Khans hell bent on creating a bloodbath. They are 21st century internet users who know better (albeit many brainwashed by an avalanche of propaganda into believing complete lies about what is really happening) and administrations forced into corruption by an insane kleptocracy who, like the breakaway republics of 1991, want nothing more than to stop their regions being stripped into poverty by Putin's kleptocracy.
The truth is far more interesting, @VladVexler, than your delusional panic-mongering which is simply playing into bolstering the continuation of corrupt terrorist nightmare of the Kremlin tyranny.

The solution is simple and easy.
Put a pin in the abscess of lies. Expel the Kremlin impostors from the UN and start enforcing the law and honouring the world order of rule of law and human rights, following the processes set out in the UN Charter, agreed by every country in the world except Russia.
It can be done next week by a simple 51% majority resolution of the UN General Assembly, exactly as was done in 1971 in A/RES/2758. (Cannot be vetoed - the Security Council has no jurisdiction under the UN Charter. No “reform” necessary - that is all lies. It’s not even necessary for the US/UK/France or China to support it - they have no vetos in the UN General Assembly.)
It should have been done on 3 March 2022 instead of the unbelievable cowed pathetic hand-wringing resolution which was passed on that day.
Better late than never. It’s time to end the anarchy of gang wars the US, UK and France have turned this world into. It’s time to end the culture of “mates”, end the violation of the UN Charter and apply the law to all.
